New Menu Launch by Gyu Kaku

Gyu-Kaku is known for its barbeque. In Japan itself, there are a total of 600 branches. In Singapore, they have 5 outlets at the moment. I was excited be part of the invited media to savour Gyu-Kaku's newly-revamped menu.

So what is really so good about Japanese Wagyu? 

Most of the time in Singapore, we will have Australian Wagyu. Aussie Wagyu cows will not be kept in a shield, they will be running around. They will only eat grains. Hence less marbling, tougher meat texture.

Japanese Wagyu cows are kept in a shield, feed with high quality grains and even sake! So meat texture is tender and with lots of marbling.

Fresh Prawns. A refreshing option among the beefy dishes. 

Assorted Mushrooms. We need some to neutralise the meat. 

Somehow the meal was not completed without Garlic Rice.

Spicy Soup in Hot Stone. 

Special mention to this Wagyu Sushi. Quality beef with top grade fragrance Japanese rice. It was really sooo good. I could finish all up even though I already ate so much. Rice was not sticky, you could feel the grains. 

Sweet potatoes bbq with butter

Together with vanilla ice-cream. Indeed a heavenly combination.

Soft and Silky Tresses with Shiseido by Easels

 

 

My hair is the perfect accessory to complete the overall look.  The hustle and bustle of life and the constant use of chemicals on the hair, are the main culprits for my hair problems. In order to maintain my hair at its tip top condition, monthly scalp and hair treatment is essential to keep problems at bay.

  Products that would be used for the Treatment were displayed nicely on the trolley. Truly professional and premium.

 

 

 Step 1: The designated Shampoo was mix with hot water. The mixture was whisked with a brush to become foamy.

 

 

The stylist applied the foamy mixture onto my hair. This removed all obstructive elements attached to the hair surface. Hence, hair felt very dry after washing off.

 Step 2: My hair was considered low damaged as I did monthly hair treatments. In the solution, it contained an agent "Ion Navigator" which was uniquely developed by Shiseido. It helped to eliminate calcium ions pile-ups rooted deep inside hair while preventing re-absorption from taking place.

 

 See the special gadget used to spray the solution to the hair. So cool!

 

 This was doing deep detox to the hair. What? Even hair needs to detox too?

 

 

Step 3-4 was to inject repair agents into the hair with spatula. This would repair the damages to the surface of the hair. Lots of application and washing throughout the treatment:-P

 

The amazing triple-layer micro-coating cream would help to protect the hair from sebum, water (used for daily shampooing) and friction (static electricity).

 

 Hair felt airy, shiny and smooth after it was blown dry. It was such a joy to touch my hair. The effect was comparatively like what you achieved with re-bonding. The entire treatment took an hour to complete.

 

 

Whilst doing my treatment, I was also enjoying my hot Milo and artisan cakes with compliments from Easels. The team at Easels paid attention to every little details. Beauty on the go with Koplina Jelly
